Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at audra@siumobilesignings.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

A credentialed notary has demonstrated advanced knowledge, professional judgment, and adherence to higher standards. I am credentialed as an Expert Notary by the American Guild of Notaries Public, which means my work is held to elevated professional expectations. This helps reduce errors, delays, and document rejections.

Siu Mobile Signings - Mobile Notary Services is a notary business that provides notarial services such as notarizing documents, certifying copies, and administering oaths.

I can notarize various types of documents, including affidavits, power of attorney, deeds, contracts, domestic partnership, adoption, bills of sale. automotive, etc. Any document that can be notarized in the state of CA.   I handle general notary work and specialized documents including estate plans and trust packages, loan signings, health care directives, adoption documents, minor travel consent forms, and more. If you are unsure whether your document can be notarized, feel free to ask before scheduling.

You will need to bring a valid government-issued ID, the document to be notarized, and any other necessary paperwork or forms, completed and ready to sign in front of the notary. Should your document require witnesses, those too will need to be present for the signing of the document.

Errors can cause documents to be rejected, delayed, or require re-signing. This often costs additional time, money, and stress. Many of my appointments involve correcting mistakes made during prior notarizations by a notary that has not educated themselves beyond the minimal commissioning standard. Choosing an experienced notary helps ensure documents are completed correctly the first time.

Yes. I am a mobile notary and travel to homes, offices, hospitals, care facilities, and other agreed locations in El Monte, Temple City, and Arcadia. Appointments are required, including for same-day service due to limited availability among other roles.

No. I am not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice, tell you how to answer questions within the document, choose the notarial act, nor prepare  documents of any kind.   My role is to remain neutral, identify signer's according to CA notarial law requirements, ensure willingness & understanding of what is being signed and properly notarize documents according to California law. I do offer printing services if you're in need.

I do have an attorney referral service if you're in need of legal advice at a low membership rate vs the usual per hour rate. Please See Section Above for Referral Link.
